Reset & Ground Sessions

For Individuals & Couples

“A consultation is required prior to booking.”

Inspired by the principles of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing), Reset & Ground Sessions offer a unique opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with yourself through the restorative benefits of nature.

Nestled within the beautiful forests of Highlands East, these sessions combine the healing power of nature with psychotherapy, creating space for reflection, mindfulness, emotional processing, and personal growth.

Time spent in nature has been shown to support both mental and physical well-being. Through guided therapeutic conversations, grounding exercises, mindfulness practices, and nature-based reflection, clients are encouraged to slow down, reconnect, and gain greater clarity and self-awareness.

These sessions are designed to complement the therapeutic process by helping clients deepen their connection to themselves, reduce stress, restore balance, and cultivate a greater sense of presence and resilience.

A Little History

What is Therapy in the Forest?

It was inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or “Forest bathing”, in 1980 after a evident national health crisis related to high levels of stress linked to illnesses.

It invites you to experience the pleasures of nature through all their senses- touch, sight, hearing, smell, taste. Encourages you to feel present in the body enjoying the sensation of being ‘alive’ and profoundly benefiting from the connection with nature.
